Recording and photos...
A kind of delicate one here...We have talked a lot during the week about the whole idea of taking photos and videos during our shows. We have spoken with our agents and legal contacts, and have more or less decided that, we will have to make an announcement at the start of our shows that
"Any recording of our show, or any part of our show, is illegal. And that photographing during the concert is forbidden. There will of course be endless opportunities to take photos during the meet-and-greet after the show"...
or something to that effect...
I am SO sorry to those people who have discretely taken shots during our performances, but I am sure you can all appreciate we have no way of controlling what appears in the public medium, unless we start to somehow set boundaries.
And we are of course not naive, we still will not be able to control what appears on You-Tube or wherever. But we just wanted to make people realise that we do not encourage videos going out on the web, which we have not ok-ed. Some are already out there which we are not happy with.
Any substandard recording of our performances will do us no good, and I am sure you can appreciate that.Sorry to sound like a Video-Monitor, but something had to be said.
